CONFUSED LUCK [LIFE & DEATH]

When I first moved to Toronto I was employed at a movie theatre and worked the duration of one shift, serving popcorn, tacos and candy to the masses of people flocking to see High School Musical and Hotel For Dogs. That first shift was to be my last. Never before have I felt so truly, the mark 9413 placed upon my forehead. It's astonishing at how a city may swallow you whole.
My only solace now rests in purchasing children's tickets at computerized cashiers for 18A films.
