Puck-Pong (2010) Garage Installation & Artist Talk

One of the best parts about living in the suburbs is the vibrant and vast artistic community. I am consistently passing by and receiving invitations to shows and artist talks held in car garages typically used to store common household items, now reappropriated with mass amounts of artwork stored and displayed.
Shown in these images is artist Shawn Dorman discoursing about his latest piece, entitled Puck-Pong, with Carly Sauvé. I was lucky enough to be invited to document this occasion prior to the couples departure to Edinburgh, Scotland where I'm sure Dorman will continue his subtle yet provocative commentary on North American suburbia through his use of sporting goods material.
