I'm very excited to announce an upcoming exhibition titled Staccato which opens at The Aurora Cultural Centre (Blue Gallery) this Saturday, July 9th from 1-4PM. This exhibition will feature work from my series Buried (2009-2010) as well as works by my good friends and colleagues, Brendan George Ko and Faye Mullen.
Some other great reasons you should check out this exhibit:
1) The opening coincides with Doors Open Aurora which features 21 of the town's landmark, historic and natural sites.
2) There will be a performance during the opening.
3) An essay by Lisa Visser discusses the conceptual framework of the exhibit.
4) There will be an artist Walk & Talk to discuss the works and allow for Q&A during the opening.
5) aberrations which features the work of Lindsie Canton will be opening simultaneously in the Great Hall Gallery (upstairs).

If you can't make it on Saturday the exhibition will be running until August 27th. Gallery hours are Tue-Sat 1-4PM or by appointment.

DIRECTIONS: To get to the gallery from Downtown Toronto go to the Union Station GO Bus terminal. Take the 65 Barrie-Bradford GO Bus to Aurora. Get off at the Aurora GO Bus & Train Station (not the carpool lot). Walk West along Wellington St, then South on Victoria St until you arrive at Church St. The gallery is located on the corner, exact address is 22 Church St.
This trip should take under one hour from Union Station.
